Code of Conduct

Lake George Expedition Park, which includes Dino Roar Valley and Magic Forest, are attractions where family and friends spend time together while creating memories. We expect each of our guests to refrain from behavior that negatively impacts this experience. Disruptive or offensive behavior, profanity, or harassment is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Violators may be subject to park ejection without refund. Please review the Code of Conduct policies below.


DRESS CODE

Lake George Expedition Park enforces a dress code in keeping with our family-friendly environment. Proper attire must be worn in the parks at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear. Clothing or body art with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at any time. Prohibited examples include any profanity, pornography, drugs or drug use, promoting violence or discrimination. For clarification prior to entering the park, please stop by Guest Relations at the main box office.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not permitted to be brought into Lake George Expedition Park at any time:

  • No Food, Beverages or Coolers  allowed into the Park
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Drugs and drug paraphernalia
  • Knives and other sharp objects
  • Guns and firearms
  • Explosive materials including fireworks, flammable materials, disabling chemicals, other dangerous materials
  • Additional prohibited items include: power tools, multi-tools, glass items, professional cameras, flasks, food and beverage, coolers, grills and pets (service animals always welcome)

FOOD, BEVERAGE, and COOLERS

Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted to be brought into Lake George Expedition Park. Lake George Expedition Park prohibits the use of grills or open flames on park property, including the parking lot.

Exceptions are made for guests who have food sensitivities or life-threatening allergies. Lake George Expedition Park cannot guarantee our food is prepared in an allergen free environment. Guests who suffer from food allergies may bring food into the park if they do not feel comfortable with the menu options available. In this case, the food must be limited to the individual with the allergy.  One small soft-sided cooler may be brought into the park to carry these items. Baby food is also permitted. Please see LGEP Guest Relations or Security to receive approval for carry-in items.

INCLEMENT WEATHER and RAIN CHECKS

Certain rides and attractions, including the dinosaurs of Dino Roar Valley may temporarily close during severe weather. Most gift shops and food stands will remain open. Rides at Magic Forest closed due to weather, will re-open as soon as safe operation allows. Rain checks will be issued upon request if Lake George Expedition Park attractions are closed for more than an hour during the day. Rain checks can be redeemed for a return visit within 5 days of date of issue. Refunds are not offered for inclement weather.

LOOSE ARTICLES

Loose articles are not permitted on most rides and should be left with non-riders or secured in lockers.

PETS

Pets are not allowed on Lake George Expedition Park property. Leaving unattended pets in cars parked in LGEP lots is strictly prohibited. Service Animals are always welcome.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Professional photography or videography is not permitted at Lake George Expedition Park without the prior approval of park management. Professional cameras or equipment are thus prohibited at LGEP. Drones and drone cameras are not permitted. Guests of LGEP, by entering onto park grounds, grant Lake George Expedition Park the right to photograph or film them without payment or other compensatory consideration.

RE-ENTRY

To leave Lake George Expedition Park and re-enter on the same day, please get your hand stamped at the re-entry gate at the main box office. This includes Season Pass holders. Season Passes are only valid to scan once per day.

RIDE RESTRICTIONS

Safety is our number one priority at Lake George Expedition Park. Guests of certain heights, weights, or body proportions may not be allowed to ride certain rides based on proper use of the safety or restraining devises. Specific ride information is available at the ride and at Guest Relations at the main box office. For your convenience, a one-time height check is available at Guest Relations.

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY

Guests at Lake George Expedition Park must obey all oral and written warnings, and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Guests who do not comply with ride rules may be ejected from the park without refund. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride.

SMOKING POLICY

Lake George Expedition Park is a smoke and tobacco free environment. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area outside the main box office. Use of vapor products and chewing tobacco are also prohibited inside LGEP.

GUEST SAFETY

Please walk at all times. Do not stand on benches, picnic tables, or other seating areas.
